Meet Jim Sorrells: Our New Sales Director of Claims Services

I am excited to announce that I have joined the amazing team at DigitalOwl as Sales Director of Claims Services for Property and Casualty Insurance. I am honored to join the company that is revolutionizing the understanding of medical records for evaluating insurance injury claims using cutting-edge AI technology.

But first, let me introduce myself for those who may not know me. I have more than 30 years of experience in the U.S. P&C insurance industry, with 26 of those engaged in leading claim organizations at a major carrier. I am known for crafting and executing strategy, delivering operational excellence, and forming collaborative industry relationships and long-term partnerships.

In recent years, I worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where I partnered with clients on multi-year transformations to advance digital operations and business process outsourcing. Later, I worked at Shift Technology as a go-to-market strategy partner, sales executive, subject expert, and product strategist. Here, I spearheaded P&C insurance claims transformation and process optimization.

Now, I am eager to bring my expertise to DigitalOwl—the company that is redefining the way insurance, healthcare, and legal professionals work. I was intrigued by how DigitalOwl is innovating to solve a challenge for injury claims that has adversely impacted the industry for decades. At the core of this innovation lies its proprietary Generative AI. The AI goes beyond entity recognition, contextualizing medical nuances for drastically improved decision-making. This is revolutionizing the way medical data is reviewed and understood.
